The colours used at the creation of a soul define the core mission of the soul. I have completed readings for many healers throughout the years. I usually see those souls created with the central colour being green. Some of the secondary colours might be a yellow which represents wisdom; gold, a special quality of God’s energy; ranges of pinks running all the way from light pink to darker shades such as cerise. As you may be aware, pink means love and cerise encompasses the blue-violet shades of compassion interwoven with love.

I spent the first month and a half of my summer vacation doing little other than resting and relaxing. I thought I would embark on a project to make myself feel like I accomplished something this summer. I have a big bin of photos that I’ve been meaning to sort and place in albums for years now. Every time I even consider embarking on such a feat I get weary at just the thought of it. I decided now is the time to delve in and just do it! The hundreds and hundreds of photos were thrown in without little to no order. The pictures spanned my childhood, the upbringing of my son, my family, pets,...

At some point in his or her career, every politician gets tarred with a catch phrase–and usually not a flattering one. George Bush, Sr. is stuck with two. There was “Read my lips, no new taxes,” of course. But only slightly less unfortunate was his dismissal of what he called, “The vision thing.” He was trying at the time to give the impression that he was a competent day-to-day manager but he lacked any grander vision of where he wanted to lead the country. His choice of words and tone of voice didn’t exactly help.

Have you noticed that since we can’t slow down the things around us we try to speed ourselves up. We hurry, rush, we hustle. We run ourselves ragged trying to get ahead or stay even or to catch up. And then we occasionally encounter someone who seems to have time for everything and for everyone. He doesn’t hurry. He doesn’t seem stressed, rushed or impatient. It’s almost as if he’s got nothing to do yet he gets so much done.

Perhaps you have listened to parenting advice, all the while thinking, “That won’t work with my child–nothing does. He’s too difficult; no one can get through to him!” If you’ve ever felt this way, stop what you’re doing and read this article. Empowering Parents magazine sat down and talked to James Lehman, who explains how to get through to “hard case” kids–and how to manage their behavior effectively. (The good news? There is hope–and room to make some real changes that work.)

Today marks the one year anniversary of HealthMoneySuccess.com. It has been a great journey and I am really grateful for everything that had happened over here. I’m in the process of shifting my illustration work from lots of little jobs that are ok, to a few big jobs that I love. I’m also looking for an agent to represent my work. I’ve wanted this for a while, but only recently got really clear about the whole thing. So, now I’m ready! Did you hear that, Universe!?
Probably not. See, the Universe doesn’t have a direct line, and in order to transform yourself or your life the best way can often be a numbers game. Last week, I heard a story about a guy who has amazing success with women. He goes on more dates with amazing...
