There is no other step on the journey that happens as instantaneously as Surrender; but, it may take a very long time until we are ready to fully do so. When we do, our prior step of Searching usually moves towards its end. Nearly simultaneously, the next step after Surrender – Healing – begins. As we move deeper into the soul level of the journey, it becomes increasingly difficult to separate out the steps, for they overlap in a very non-linear way. Steps 6, 7 and 8 are usually always a trio.

Ascension from my point of view is a simple definition even though humanity seems to make it difficult. The word Ascension tells you something. The verb ascend is contained in the word. Ascend means to move up in some form. Therefore, to ascend means that the vibrations of the soul and the physical body that contains the soul increases until both of them are able to reach a higher plane of existence. Most people could identify with these words and probably agree with them.

It is near the end of week 1 of my 16 weeks challenge to 6 pack abs. I will update weekly (Friday Singapore timing) to let you know about my progress and provide some tips that you can incorporate into your work out.
What Have You Been Doing Vincent?
I jumped into this challenge without much planning and that is why right now I am rather disorganized. I did not have a very specific plan that I am going to follow yet and I am still designing my workout as I go along. Here are some of the things that I did last week.
Read books on fitness and health. (Truth About...

I was relaxing on the beach yesterday reading a good book. I saw myself in the main character. I was rooting for her, wondering how she was going to resolve her challenges. I thought about my current issues and I sat for a moment wondering how it would all work out. I am unable to see how it will unfold, although I trust that all will be good in the end. I reminded myself of all the insurmountable issues I’ve overcome. All of the times that I thought, how the heck will I ever accomplish that?! So why wouldn’t my current situation resolve itself?! Whatever necessary steps I needed to...

Can you define common purpose? When people inside organizations don’t have to be told how to do their work, when they make decisions flawlessly in the interests of their constituencies, when morale and energy are high and people are happy, when everyone does their best, and when an organization’s strategy is known throughout the firm, then you can say the organization has common purpose.

As cryptic as this step may appear to be, it is nevertheless one of my favorites of the journey. Searching is the step that begins the hero’s adventure at the deepest level, the level of spirit. We thought the adventure was over–we set out from the tribe, found ourselves, and returned triumphant. We settled down and created a satisfying life for ourselves. In the previous step of Sovereignty we were the hero become king/queen of our domain. But this is linear thinking. Life moves in a spiral and now we discover that there is much, much more, should we use our free will to go further.

Having learned the lesson of compassion in the previous step of Communion, we now cross the bridge from ego to soul. In the 5th step of Sovereignty, the ego “shakes hands” with the soul and finds its own authenticity. We return from our step four adventures away from the tribe. Having discovered our own values and beliefs, we now come home–to ourselves and to our relationships with others. We’ve learned to allow others to be who they are, and we’ve given ourselves permission to be who we are. In step five of Sovereignty, it’s time for us to not only build our...

Wallace Huey was our first Heart to Heart coach, after he contacted me with the idea about four years ago, to have a free life coaching service with Q&As that would be published in the newsletter. The Life Challenges that the questioners presented turned out to be the basis of a new reorganisation of the site, and Wallace came on board as a co-director of Trans4mind. And then he became so busy running the Trans4mind Network of international sites, that we needed a new coach…
Lo and behold, Maurice Turmel got in touch at the precise moment of need and offered his services. After six...

I am working on a time management system to help me increase my productivity level. If you want to achieve your desired success in life, you will need to be a master in utilizing your time. I see time as a currency that is more valuable than money and whoever can get the most out of it will achieve more results in life.
Whatever outcome we want to achieve, the first thing that we need to invest is time. Other factors such as money and labor are secondary issues. If you are able to invest more quality time into your desired outcome, the chances of achieving it are much higher.
